Enjoy eight transformative workshops, each designed to deepen and to introduce new aspects to your individual mindfulness practice for mind, body and soul in a serene lakeside setting. The weekend offers a rare opportunity to experience a myriad of wellbeing practices, from meditation and managing physical and mental health issues to gentle yoga and kitchen pharmacy.

Experienced Facilitators

Michele Claiborne, with over 30 years of experience in teaching mindfulness, brings a wealth of knowledge as a qualified international natural healer. Participants will benefit from her diverse background and extensive studies. She will be teaching breathing techniques, meditations, kitchen pharmacy and more, see itinerary.

Amanda Statham, is a yoga teacher, travel editor of Women’s Health magazine and runs retreats abroad. She will lead you through two gentle yoga sessions designed to open the chakras and leave you feeling balanced and rejuvenated. Open to all levels, Amanda’s passionate about making yoga accessible to everyone (not just the very bendy!).

Relaxation and Recreation

Unwind in a wood-fired hot tub and stargaze with a view of the lake. The weekend provides a perfect balance of tuition, active lessons and relaxation.

Group Size

To ensure an intimate and personalised experience, the group size is limited to a maximum of 12 participants.

Accommodation and Comfort

Pitch up your own tent for free or enjoy a simple but comfortable stay in one of our small teepee tents at the retreat for £25. Only 10 minutes away @ Lee Wick Farm cottages, lushna and glamping are available or treat yourself to a luxurious stay at the historic Priory, only a short walk away. Obviously if you’re local you will not need accommodation. Choose from a variety of places to stay, subject to availability and requirements.

Itinerary

SATURDAY 25TH MAY

10:00am Introduction by your host Michele Claiborne

Unwind with a herbal tea and get acquainted with your fellow participants while Michele runs through how to make the most of your retreat and the principle importance of mindfulness, meditation and movement. PLEASE BE ON TIME as we then jump into the first key practice.

10:30am Kryia and other breath techniques

Scientists now recognize the importance of how we can use our breath for healing, relaxing, regenerating, and altering the very chemistry of our body. This session requires action and focus and with consistent practice has healed and changed peoples lives.

11:30am Visual meditations inspired by Joe Dispenza

Get comfortable but brace yourself to go on an inward journey with one of Michele’s visual meditations which is inspired by Joe Dispenza, using visualisation, new focus and the breath to transform our body and our mind, and inevitably change our life.

12:30pm Gentle yoga and teaching with Amanda Stratham

Designed to open the chakras (energy centres within your body) and leave you feeling balanced and rejuvenated. Open to all levels in a gentle practice.

1:30pm Lunch

Enjoy a nutritious and delicious meal such as; locally grown spectacular salad with mixed seeds and nuts (please inform us if you have any allergies), healthy avocado dressing, sprouted lentil bread with homemade houmous, and homemade rocket/basil pesto.

3:00pm Walking mindfulness practice

Using all of our senses, enjoy a gentle walk in the beautiful countryside, while learning to stay in the present moment.

4:00pm Tea Break

4:30pm Emotional Freedom Technique and energy workshop

Learn how to use our pressure points along with our mindful focus to release any stuck flow of energy from past or future negative fears and thoughts or traumas. This process has changed peoples lives for the better.

5:30pm Visual meditation inspired by the Silva technique giving us the opportunity to discover the power of complete and total relaxation. Pain and problems can dissolve and creativity can flourish in this Theta state of Being.

6:30pm Dinner

Enjoy another healthy and more hearty meal such as; cooked sprouted Dahl with cauliflower rice, mango pickle, crunchy fresh salad and lentil chapattis (Please inform us if you have any allergies) .

8:00pm Recreational optional activities

Evening wood-fired hot tub or fire circle.

10:00pm Going to sleep meditation provided, choice of different modality recordings

SUNDAY 26TH MAY

8:00am Sunrise Yoga or kayaking

These activities are optional but please note even if you are able to swim, all participants must wear a life jacket.

9:00am Breakfast

Learn to embrace and enjoy a scrumptious breakfast without a sugar spike such as; organic free range poached eggs with a fresh salad mix and a gluten and sugar free toast.

10:00am An introduction to Super Seeing

Breaking our limiting belief, while playing to discover our amazing capabilities using all our senses to see our world as you never have before.

11:00am Tea break

11:30am Drumming Journey

Release your past and create your future and understand yourself. By using the hypnotic effect of the drum and allowing your imagination to help you to answer many of your deepest questions and resolve issues in your life on this deep revealing journey.

12:30pm An Introduction to Kitchen Pharmacy

Food is our medicine and in our kitchen discover first aid, health, vitality using regular condiments, herbs and food. Recipes of the weekend’s foods given out and lunch prepared together with a little help from our chef Paul Taylor!

2:30pm Conclusion of all practices
